Job description

Are you a wizard with Excel and enjoy reviewing data. This position is all about using your skills to create user friendly reports to aid the business in their decision making.

Your Role

The Management Information teams’ main function is to design and provide data from various sources and present results against our Contractual Service of requirements (SORs). The data is communicated to KN & Team Leidos management teams on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis. A key element of this role will be to create these daily, weekly and monthly performance reports along with interpreting data and turning it into information which will aid operations and support the business decision making.

Your Responsibilities

·  Build Relationships with the Customer and offer excellent customer service and respond constructively to customer requests – Internal and External
·  Lead and co-ordinate the Management Information (MI) Admin Team.
·  Ensure Ad-hoc reports are completed within the specified requirements and the agreed Service Level Agreements, ensuring the requestor understands limitations.
·  Create daily / weekly and monthly performance / Management information reports for internal and external customers. 
·  Generate reports to support operational analysis of contractual Key performance indicator data together with analysing raw data from various sources, Access Databases and Excel documents
·  Interpret data and summarise into set standards and templates whilst defining ways of recording and extracting KPI data
·  Streamline data gathering and create standard methods for data collection. Create high level presentations and documents
·  Provide data to support continuous improvement activity and provide a link into the Operational structure for all MI activity

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Operated within the military / defence and commercial sectors (Not Essential)
·  A good level of data manipulation skill in Advanced Excel multi-functional formula, Power Point, PDF’s Business Objects/ EDW experience an advantage
·  Maintain integrity of the MI process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current complete and consistent.
·  Strong desire to solve problems, improve/automate old methods and find new ideas of working competent with manipulation and updating of spread sheets and databases
·  Understanding of OTIF (On time in Full).
·  Attention to detail and analytical and numerate/data rationale
·  Able to adapt to new IT methods of extracting data in continuous improvement techniques and execution
