Job description

Disciplinary and operational responsibility for a person in this role is day-to-day follow up and sending a daily report to customer & smooth running of the specific site job.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Daily Follow-up with all KN departments (Air-Ocean- Overland ) to get accurate and maintain and assist with all reporting of shipment and status tracking queries during the lifecycle of the Contract with UPDC.
·  Review Pr-Alert documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), Certificate of Origin (COO) and any other relevant documentation for accuracy and completeness and ensure it is compliant with all Customs and/or other trade regulations;
·  Confirm all documentation is available by way of reviewing electronic copies of the same and thereafter provide shipment GL;
·  Coordinate closely with WDI/ UPDC's Third Party Hub Management vendor, WDI/ UPDC's Affiliates in other countries and/or its Suppliers in overseas locations for all inbound/outbound shipments as required;
·  Review HS Codes, Value, and Origin of goods provided by WDI/ UPDC for accuracy and correctness and where there is doubt or inconsistency consult with WDI/ UPDC for resolution; thereafter to the satisfaction of the WDI/ UPDC the correct HS Code, Value and Origin shall be declared;
·  Prepare and file Import/Export declarations to Customs authority on behalf of WDI/ UPDC in accordance with the documentation provided and in compliance with Customs rules and regulations;
·  Provide all supporting receipts for any payments made to any Governmental authority on behalf of WDI/ UPDC; failure to provide such receipts will result in non-payment of the charges;

Your skills and experience

·  The ideal candidate has a college degree
·  Prior Project Management experience of minimum 2 years is mandatory
·  International exposure on a similar role with leadership experience of minimum 5 years is essential for this role
·  Has intense industry knowledge
·  Fluent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory, knowledge of Arabic language would be a plus
