For IT Products GI-AO in Hamburg we are looking for new colleagues who want to take over the responsibility for major parts of our customers' IT landscape and improve it together with our customers and partners. Our customers are the business units of Overland, Sales, HR, QSHE and Legal. We support and consult them to master the demands of the markets as well as our own internal ambitions (Digitalization and Innovation).

As an IT Solution Owner you are acting on the same level as a functional Product Owner (PO), but from a holistic perspective to, continuously develop and improve our IT landscape, rather than working on a single product. You act as an interface to specific business units, enable communication, try to break up silo structures, balance out process weaknesses and dysfunctional organizational structures and strengthen the performance of systems and teams.

·  Customer satisfaction is more important than SLA compliance
·  Collaboration is more important than certification
·  Directing by results is more important than intervening into operations
·  Adaptability is more important than observing procedures

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Contribution to and design of existing and future IT solutions
·  Close collaboration with and consulting of your customers in technology and product selections (e.g. make or buy decisions)
·  Execution of projects (e.g. developing new applications, integration of 3rd party products into our IT landscape) as a project manager in an international setup
·  Acting as a Product Owner (e.g. supporting the development team through story writing, interface to the business unit)
·  The continuous improvement of our tools and of the transparency of our IT landscape across functional boundaries
·  Accountability for the deliveries within your solution scope incl. the alignment with stakeholders on business side and IT

Your skills and experience

·  A strong IT background (e.g. software development or IT management)
·  A strategic streak – you act in a future orientated way and enjoy spotting potential synergies with other areas of the business.
·  Good intuition to balance necessary formalism and healthy pragmatism in order to serve both sides of the agile manifesto
·  Proficient in the usual set of project management methods, project planning and controlling tools, and agile approaches
·  Experience with operations or service management (e.g ITIL or ITSM ) would be an advantage
·  Fluent in English
·  Strong Interpersonal and communication skills to manage a variety of stakeholders
·  A team player who likes a dive into new topics, and is not afraid to drive change
