Kuehne + Nagel Global Overland Transportation is seeking an Intern Transformation Overland with a strong project and change management approach so solve some of the most complex logistics challenges. Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Be responsible for the implementation of a new transport management system (TMS) in our operations offices as part of the European roll-out
·  Lead the successful change management towards standardization and optimization of core processes and help improve operational efficiency with digitization
·  Drive the initiation of a structured project management office (PMO) as core backbone for the international roll-out of a new road TMS

Your skills and experience

·  Immatriculation in a university degree program in economics or a comparable degree program with a focus on logistics / transport economics
·  Ideally first practical experience in logistic business enterprises and operational excellence initiatives
·  Logistical and forwarding essentials desirable
·  Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
·  Interpersonal skills to manage variety of stakeholders in regions/countries/sites
·  Independent work, creativity and structured way of working
·  Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Powerpoint and Excel
·  Willingness to travel and fluency in English mandatory (additional languages, especially German and/or French, are an advantage)
