Global role in the headquarters of Kuehne + Nagel
YOUR ROLE
As a Global Dangerous Goods Manager you are responsible for establishing and consolidating a group culture and awareness on dangerous goods/hazardous material for all business and functional units
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Define and execute group strategy and targets as defined on Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Material
· Establish group guideline and documentation for the handling of DG/HazMat
· Coordinate & support implementation & application of global DG/HazMat guidelines / rules / standards
· Overview regulatory enforcement actions involving DG/HazMat in cooperation with QSHE and external regulatory agencies
· Lead and manage the global expert team DG/HazMat
· Establish a global risk management tool for DG/HazMat per Region and Business Unit
· Supervise and carrying out risk assessments
· Monitor and analyzes defined KPI reporting to improve quality and global DG/HazMat risks
· Represents KN before international regulatory authorities and industry associations
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
· Working experiences in DG/HazMat between 3 to 5 years
· University degree: Bachelor and/or Master
· Qualified of DG/HazMat regulations (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG, etc.) operations and procedures
· Certified ISO 9001 auditor or adequate, preferred
· Trained and knowledge of First Aid, Fire Prevention requirements
· Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Handling / Storage
· High proficiency of English and German (written and spoken), any additional language is a plus
· Good knowledge of MS Office applications
