Facilities and Engineering Electrical engineer

Job Description:

To receive and store deliveries correctly following FIFO rules to provide support to the kitchen through daily weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, completion of all relevant due diligence documentation.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  Carrying out routine checking of site assets and systems

·  Responding to day to day breakdowns and issues

·  Racking inspections and repairs

·  Communicate any major equipment problems to site maintenance

·  Fault finding of site equipment

·  Adhere to all H & S policies and working to RDC operational procedures

·  Ensure COSHH risk assessments are adhered to

·  Decoration of site building infrastructure and evaluation of correct tools and materials required for task

Your skills and experience

·  GCSE grade D or above in English and Maths (or equivalent). Physics or Technology based qualification would be advantageous

·  Time served apprenticeship in an electrical engineering/facilities background and a City & Guilds electrical qualification. Inspection and Test qualification is an advantage.

·  A certificate in BS7671 IEE wiring regulations 17th edition

·  A comprehensive working knowledge of Health and Safety

·  A good team player

·  A self-starter who can work using their own initiative

·  A flexible approach and a good level of self-motivation

·  Must have previous experience within facilities, maintenance or engineering
