Your Role

Retain accounts by providing superior service giving the client one point of contact for all questions. Superior service is an incentive for existing clients to work more closely with us.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for the assigned customer base.
• Retain accounts by providing superior service giving the client one point of contact for all questions. Superior service is an incentive for existing clients to work more closely with us.
• Tracking import orders prior to for customers prior to those shipments becoming operational files (prior to KNIE opening).
• Acting as a conduit between clients/operations/sales.
• Staying closer to the "front line" employees of the client that would keep KN informed about what competitors were soliciting them and the client's view of KN.
• Generally, smoothing over any operational failures.
• Obtaining rates, creating quotations and sending proposals to customers for spot quote requests.
• Supporting the sales team to implement newly awarded business for the assigned customer base: Creating SOP’s, KN Login Customer Profiles and KN Login Solutions (Monitoring, Reporting, etc.)
• Participating in quarterly business reviews and meeting assigned customers on a regular basis.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Knowledge of Windows-based order entry system
• A minimum of 2 (two) years experience in customer service
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AS400 or any Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is highly desired
• Exercises initiative in following up on pending issues and orders
• Ability to effectively solve problems
• Ability to establish priorities and multi task
