Job description

The EDI Project Manager is part of the Customer Solutions team and leads EDI projects for existing and new customers. You will manage projects utilizing Kuehne + Nagel's project methodology. In Customer Solutions, we constantly work on enriching our solution offering to our existing and potential customer base.

Your tasks and responsibilities

EDI Solution Design based on customer requirements and Kuehne + Nagel Solution Offering
Gather customer technical documents, specifications and samples
Review and validate EDI specifications and samples
Create Logical Maps and collaborate with programmers
Coordinate system configuration to support EDI requirements
Evaluate EDI after programming completed by testing, utilizing appropriate internal systems and customer facing information solutions
Train external and internal parties on the implemented solution as needed
Work closely with Customer as well as potential other external stakeholders
Collaborate with KN Account Management Team as well as other local and overseas based parties involved in the implementation
Provide post production support
Maintain Project and EDI Documentation

Your skills and experience

You have outstanding knowhow and experience with EDI Standards like
EDIFACT, ANSI and XML, as well as various types of Communication
Protocols
You have advanced PC and MS Office application knowledge
You're fluent in the English language
You like to work in teams and communicate well
Minimum of 2 years forwarding, carrier and/or steamship experience
Minimum 5 years EDI project management experience preferably in supply chain
Experience with GT Nexus based implementations is an advantage
A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education is preferred
