Job description


Job Title: Control Tower Administrator
Location: Derby
Vacancy Number: GB08602


What we're looking for

You will ensure that all configuration work is completed within the project timescales with Kuehne + Nagel Standard rules. Being part of a team to deliver, support, coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment, according to Kuehne + Nagel internal rules supporting Contract Logistics.

What you'll do:

·  To generate & administer various customer reports.
·  Update both KNDL & customer systems with delivery/collection information in a timely manner
·  Dealing with queries via email and over the telephone
·  Developing strong links with internal and external customers to the business
·  Supporting the team of planners as required.
·  To provide accurate management information as and when required
·  To generate and monitor various KPi Reports
·  General administration support to the Control Tower team

What you'll bring:

·  Analytical skills – ability to understand complex data and ensure attention to detail
·  Continuous Improvement – ability to question, challenge and improve upon existing processes
·  Resilience – ability to keep calm under pressure
·  Communication – Excellent communication and organisational skills
·  Flexibility – To be prepared to work & think outside the box to ensure customer service & cost control.
·  PC Skills – Excel/ Word. GTS/ESP and SAP advantageous.
