Collection Supervisor

Job description

Our finance team is the backbone of our rapidly growing business and provides crucial support in controlling costs and ensuring profitability. This position will oversee a team of Collectors and monitor payment collections are carried out on time.

Your Role

In this role, you will ensure strong follow up processes are in place in order for outstanding payments to be collected in an organised and professional manner.

Your Responsibilities

·  Set up and monitor actual payment processes to comply with agreed standard operating procedures
·  Review collection statuses with the team regularly and escalate to management if necessary.
·  Organise meetings and conference calls with Sales, Operations and customers to assist collectors in settling disputes
·  Conduct customer visits to resolve outstanding financial issues where required
·  Ensure internal control systems checking and audit reports are completed

Your Skills and Experiences

To be considered, you should have at least 2 years of experience in finance, with background in sea logistics and team management being highly advantageous. Besides proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, you are also fluent in Mandarin and comfortable in English. Attention to detail and communication skills are critical to the success of this role.
