We have a great opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team who support the Drinks Logistics business (KNDL).

Your Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will provide our systems users with support and maintenance within Kuehne+Nagel’s Business Systems software environment - this incorporates configuring, diagnosing, maintaining and testing of all system functions and processes to ensure an optimal end user performance. We are looking for an Analyst who can also trouble shoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. As this role also provides important technical support for testing, training and delivery support for IT projects, our Analysts travel to support our multiple locations – this means we are looking for candidates who are based around the Midlands who are also able to travel to sites nationally.

Your Responsibilities

·  Assist in developing the system and processes for meeting future contract/network software needs.
·  Support the delivery of IT projects, including testing, fixing and setting up master data.
·  Provide 2nd Line support of the KNDL application landscape including out of hours support - on call 1 week in 6 typically between 9-5pm Monday to Friday and 1 week in 12 for Out of Hours support between 7pm to 7am Monday to Sunday.  (There is an additional payment for the Out of Hours rota).
·  Conduct research and analysis of the systems, functions and support efforts.
·  Thorough understanding of SAP systems.
·  Able to work on own initiative, allocating and managing priorities of own workload, also a team player and effective communicator.
·  Evaluate and recommend solutions for repeat points of failure in system processes/functions to reduce support overhead.
·  Assist with technical specifications for EDI mapping submission.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  University Degree or equivalent and / or demonstrated experience in the Drinks or Logistics Industry.
·  Thorough understanding / knowledge of SAP systems– Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Logistics Execution Systems, Task Management, Warehouse Management.
·  ITIL experience and ideally at least Foundation certified is preferable.
·  Previous experience in an IT support role and test planning and execution, also of managing 2nd line support processes.
·  Broad range of application experience in relevant industries and sectors.
·  Able to work on own initiative, allocating and managing priorities of own workload, also a team player and effective communicator.
·  Keen to learn and develop skills, works with enthusiasm, energy and drive to achieve targets – demonstrates resilience when things don’t go to plan.
·  Commitment to achieving things and demonstrates high standards – we are looking for a completer finisher with good attention to detail.
