Business Development Support Executive (West Singapore)

Your main responsibilities

Job Summary:

To provide consistently outstanding levels of customer service to all Customers by completing all required tasks effectively and efficiently and therefore ensuring that all supply chain process are seamless.
- To ensure that all requirements of the relevant Customer Operating Procedure are met at all times.
- To ensure that the service expectations of customers and the company are met at all times.

Job Descriptions :

• To ensure ongoing and consistent customer satisfaction to customers through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues and problems.
• To establish and maintain long term sustainable partnerships with customers.
• To identify and solve issues in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
• To provide customers with spot quote requests.
• To discuss and communicate customer feedback with other affected business units.
• To ensure that you represent the company in a professional and consultative manner.
• Handle telephone enquiries and provide support/assistance to COD customers for shipment arrangement.
• Assist the Account manager in SOP set up/updates, MBR, QBR presentations
• Provide support & assistance to overseas offices pertaining to shipment Routing order.
• Follow up overdue invoices and settle disputes (if any).
• Customer visit when required together with the Account manager or HOD.
• Manage and prepare reports as required by customer.
• To ensure to key in opportunities and close opportunities
• To control the implementation of new businesses.
• To ensure that all relevant data is entered into KN Login and kept up to date at all times.
• To liaise with regulatory bodies to develop positive working relationships to ensure compliance and to limit unnecessary delays due to inadequate process and non-compliance issues.
• To support and convert customers to KN Freightnet

Your skills and experience

·  Degree in Business / Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
·  Preferably 2-5 years Customer Management experience in logistics.
·  Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
·  Competent in freight forwarding processes and terminology.
·  Able to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
