Business Development Manager, Seafreight Export | Qingdao | req46103

As an experienced business development / sales talent in freight forwarding market, you would like to improve personal professional performance on a more widely and famous logistics platform in Qingdao with a world-class logistics provider together.

YOUR ROLE

Focused on seafreight business expansion based in Qingdao market. Being owners of individual accounts within the team, the main responsibility is bringing “new” seafreight business opportunities in respective local market.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Be primary point of contact for the customer, selling KN services with a specific focus on the seafreight business unit
·  Closely cooperate with operations to develop and apply specialized knowledge relative to the assigned business unit and trade lane (where applicable) and liaise on pricing/RFQ preparation
·  Develop spot and regular opportunities with existing and new customers
·  Focus on customer retention engagement on assigned account portfolio
·  Preparing and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations , negotiations and contracts
·  Input and timely update of sales activities utilizing CRM system
·  Ensure proper transitioning of customer to operations in line with customer requirements and internal procedures
·  Complete all required sales activities (calls, visits, leads, opportunities)
·  Focus on and develop new / existing customer targets

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

·  Degree requirement: college degree and above
·  Working experience: at least 2 to 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
·  Language: Intermediate level in English and fluent in Mandarin
·  Skills: Effective communication abilities, ability to multi-task and follow through on commitments made to the customer.
·  Personal traits: Positive attitude, strong influencing skills, and an eye for business opportunities
