Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (m/f) Road Freight Information Systems

Job description

Our aim is to be the interface between the Business Unit and our IT department. We need to support new requests for IT and make sure that they are all aligned with our Road Freight strategy and also to make sure that existing IT solutions are supported and maintained properly.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Acting as a subject matter expert for Road Freight IT systems
·  Creating and communicating solution concepts and creating Functional Requirement Specifications
·  Understanding business requirements and validating technical concepts
·  Managing and executing the national and international Road Freight Information Systems projects
·  Coordinating projects, developments and implementations with IT
·  Reviewing tender documents from the IT perspective
·  Creating interface logical mappings between applications and occasionally for large customers
·  Maintaining a close relationship with the Business Unit of Road Freight and IT

Your skills and experience

·  Experience of the Road Freight business with a good knowledge of IT systems
·  Software Design Experience
·  Project Management Experience
·  Strong English and German language skills
·  Strong communicational and analytical skills combined with good process know how
·  Must be willing to travel as needed
