Your tasks and responsibilities
The Business Analyst will analyse business requirements for Kuehne + Nagel's standard warehouse management system and transfer them into system functions. The Business Analyst will be the part of the Contract Logistics business unit and work in the information systems business analysis team. This role will report to the Head of Development - Contract Logistics Core Information Systems.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
· Work as a mediator between business unit and IT software development team
· Develop and ensure best practices in Business Analysis
· Collaborate as a member of a cross functional agile development team
· Resolve conflicts between project-specific requirements and strategic development direction
· Gap and process analysis
· Separate solution design ideas from functional goals
· Act as change manager and therefore aligning requirements with different stakeholders
· Validate design documentation and final delivery against the requirements
· Ensure that newly developed functionality is documented sufficiently
· Present developments to the user community
Your skills and experience:
· Must have experience in business analysis and warehouse management systems
· Strong software development awareness
· Management systems implementations and testing experience is a plus
· Knowledge of CIEL or other similar AS/400 based warehouse management systems is a plus
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Must be able to influence people and have strong stakeholder management skills
· Ability to work in an international environment with people of different backgrounds
· Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
