Your Role
Our Welcome & Excellence team sit as part of the central HR function and provide specialist support to our HR & business colleagues across the UK. Our team includes Resourcing (attraction, selection, on-boarding), Future Talent (early careers programmes), Learning & Development (training) and Succession Planning (talent management). As a national team, we get to work across the UK, at all levels to find and develop the best talent; shaping the future of Logistics. We are now recruiting for a brand new Administrator role to provide crucial support to the whole team. Our Business Administrator Apprenticeship is a 24 months programme, combining practical on-the-job training with study towards the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship. You will work within a successful team while learning everything you need to know whilst supported by your peers, your managers, and the apprenticeship team within Kuehne+Nagel.Your Responsibilities
As an apprentice in our team the type of work will be involved in will include:
- Inbox management – first point of contact for our colleagues
- Data dashboard creation & maintenance
- Event planning (training courses, conference events, recruitment fairs etc)
- Training course tracking & set up support
- Business Reporting
- Recruitment vetting & referral procedures
- Budget tracking & supplier management
- Systems superuser support
As the role grows the role holder will also support key change projects and drive process improvements across the team.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D (including Maths & English)
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Excel skills beneficial
