Your tasks and responsibilities

• Liaise and work closely with Business Management Team (BMT) and Global Key Account Managers (GKAMs) on assigned global pricing requests in the following capacities:
- Complete requests per US organizational pricing strategies under the guidance of US Pricing Management.
- Manage and compile regional/global pricing collection from correspondent pricing teams and/or airfreight and trade management.
- Provide feedback and consultation to BMT and Key Account Managers regarding client pricing strategy and formats, requirements, supporting data and market intelligence etc.
• Guide Implementation Team on proper rate instalment of successful quotations
• Follow-up with relevant GKAMs and BMT on proposals - participation in “post-mortem process” when required
• Manage and maintain airfreight rate, trucking rate and handling costs databases and market intelligence.
• Manage and maintain the airfreight fuel index for North America.
• Track win and loss of regional/global pricing requests.
• Support National and Regional Airfreight activities as necessary and directed by management.

Your skills and experience

Essential

1. Demonstrable advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, macros, etc)
2. Strong critical analysis skills
3. MS Office proficient
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
6. Ability to work independently, within team guidelines and procedures, towards global organizational goals

Desirable

1. Degree in Logistics or Forwarding
2. Working knowledge of current airfreight pricing structures
3. 3-5 years of pricing and/or airfreight logistics related experience
4. Familiarity, of and by, the KN Airfreight Network
5. Familiarity with Business Objects
