Job description
We are seeking an organised Administration Support to work in our Contract Logistics team in Eastern Creek.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As the Administration Support you will be providing administrative support to the Contract Logistics department including communicating with both staff and customers as well as liaising with transport companies and managing relevant documentation. Your other duties include:
· Correspondence with customers
· KPI recording
· Stocktaking
· Preparation of reports
· Scheduling transport pickups and deliveries
· Effectively dealing with overseas offices with clear communication
· Scheduling delivery windows with customers
Your skills and experience
Ideally you will know your way around a warehouse, knowing the lingo and understanding how things are run. You will have office experience and will have excellent computer skills using Microsoft software and working knowledge of an AS400 system is advantageous.
You will be highly organized, energetic, a go getter and have great initiative to get things done.
You will also be a “fit and proper person” to work in a bonded warehouse. Police checks will be conducted.
