Job description

Position: UK Stock Controller


Location: Bond Street

Reporting to: Store Manager Bond Street (reporting to) and Stores Managers Harrods & Selfridges (dotted line)

Role Objective: To be primarily responsible for the management of stock of the 3 London stores; ensuring that all deliveries, transfers and general organization of the stockroom is carried out with great attention to detail and efficiency. This role is also key in supporting the sales consultants to ensure that client needs are met.

Responsibilities
Stockroom supervision
· Be responsible for physical organization of the stockroom and strap room, ensuring that it is tidy and that stock is stored in a clear and efficient way.
· Be security conscious in order to highlight any stock that is missing from the stockroom.
· Be responsible for organization of PLV Orders and replenishment of perfumes and all packaging, including; bags, boxes, display orders, after-sales pouches.

Inventory management
· Receive all weekly deliveries into the store and checking that the stock matches the invoice and is in perfect condition. Inform inventory control of any discrepancies. Also inform the Store Managers and teams of any new stock arrivals.
· Process relevant paperwork and other administrative tasks.
· Ensure that replenishment is carried out where necessary and that stock levels are maintained according to client demand and each stores model stock with weekly rebalancing accordingly.
· Ensure all watch straps in perfect condition are registered on the stock file and ticketed without exception .
· Ensure staff consignments are kept in good condition by consignees and signed and registered with Inventory control.
· Liaise with Inventory control regarding deliveries, stock transfers, stock takes and stock adjustments.
· Open, track and close consignments in accordance with the Company's consignment policy.
· Action regular shipments. Prepare/pack according to the Maison policies and procedures
· Be responsible to identify un-ticketed items and ensure all items are ticketed with the correct price and engrave number.

Maintenance of Boucheron policies and systems
· Introduce occasional audits in each boutique preparing them for a formal independent audit
· Carry out electronic maintenance of stock-allocation, enter information regarding orders, transfers and adjustments.
· Liaise with inventory control
· Send Invoices and Petty Cash reconciliation to the finance department every month
Stock takes
· Carry out a full stock take of all pieces received in store twice a year in addition to the monthly ‘mini' stock takes of major lines (Quatre, Serpent Boheme, Ava….)
· Ensure that any discrepancies are found as a result of any of these stock takes, an investigation to how this occurred should be conducted. Findings from the stock take and any investigation carried out must be presented to the store manager and inventory control.
· Make adjustments to the relevant systems following the stock takes and liaise with inventory control where necessary.

Faulty stock and repairs
· Identify any faulty stock immediately and ensure that it is not placed on the shop floor where possible.
· Liaise with workshops as well as completing and keeping a paper trail of the appropriate forms regarding faulty stock and repairs. All repairs must be processed in accordance with the Company's policy.
· Collect all items from stores, deliver to and collect from local workshops (John Rocks/Engravers/LTP) and deliver to relevant boutiques before or on due date.

Photo-shoots
· Liaise with the press department regarding stock they require
· Prepare the consignments, book security and travel in accordance with security limits
· Attend photo-shoots when required
· Ensure pieces are returned on time and in perfect condition

Supporting to internal departments
· Proficiency of Micro-strategy, M3 and Cegid, training to team and transferring pieces, shipments and how to pack them correctly.
· Collect and deliver stock transfers from all boutiques before due date or on time.
· Regular post office and bank trips as and when required.
· Work with the London sales teams and worldwide to ensure that client demands are met and optimum stock levels are maintained.
· Dress and remove Jewellery in windows with team every morning and evening.
· Maintain constant communication with the Retail team at head office regarding stock management.
· Support the team in preparing stock for the boutique's displays.
