ABOUT SAINT LAURENT
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear. We are currently seeking a PR Assistant who will report to the Communication Manager as part of our dynamic team

Job Description

ROLE

You will lead/assist the planning and execution of all communications activities (PR, media, Advertising, Events and Partnerships etc.) in Korea

MISSION

·  Respond to media inquiries regarding sample loan, product launch, and events, etc.
·  Plan proactive pitches to media to achieve the best media exposure for our brands.
·  Develop high quality communication content and press release write-up.
·  Establish and maintain positive relationship with journalists and editors.
·  Lead/assist with media outreach and press strategy for Saint Laurent’s editorial properties
·  Initiate and execute clear strategy for communication with key malls and dept. stores
·  Identify brand relevant event opportunity in Korea and to filter key focus and opportunity for the year
·  Assist the team with projects, product launches and events and work closely with other departments (Retail ops, Merchandising, VM etc.)

PROFILE

·  University graduate with proven 3-5 years of in-house and/or agency PR experience
·  Demonstrate a solid understanding of the luxury fashion
·  Working relationships with various print, digital and broadcast media, celebrities stylists, as well as knowledge of influencers
·  Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Able to identify communication opportunities
·  Collaborative, hardworking and enthusiastic attitude
·  Team player
