ABOUT SAINT LAURENT: Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the sociocultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Company Secretary plays a critical role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sign financial statements and official documents in the capacity of a Company Secretary (CS);
· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under the Companies Act and other applicable laws;
· Serve as the designated person for disclosure of beneficial interest in the company’s shares;
· Affix Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) to the company’s Annual Return;
· Manage timely and accurate filings on relevant government portals;
· Monitor and meet all regulatory deadlines and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
PROFILE
· Qualified Company Secretary with membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) – mandatory.
· Have a natural business mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit
· Proven experience handling filings and compliance using Indian government portals.
· Excellent written, oral & listening skills, in English and local language
· Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment .
