Job Description

Our Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Demand & Inventory Planning Intern.

How you will contribute:

You will join the Demand & Inventory Planning area and will support the development of product forecasts and quantitative analysis to support central warehouse and store replenishment processes, aimed at optimizing global product availability by balancing service level requirements with financial targets. You will mainly support in the following activities:

·  Support monthly review of product sales plan continuously interacting with Brand’s teams  (sales merchandising, product marketing, Retail Operations) to collect qualitative input affecting demand (trend, cannibalization, events, ..)
·  Analyze and develop seasonality curves at product and store level to be applied on sales forecast
·  Support analysis of inventory mutualization opportunities: rebalance (store to store, store to central warehouse) and restore form QC/Repair warehouse locations
·  Support analysis and evaluation of production requirements
·  Support weekly update of reports, including Out of Stock, Global Coverage and Store Allocation reports
·  Support ABC (best seller / slow mover pareto classification) reporting and analysis
·  Evaluate store replenishment needs and central inventory coverage
·  Support monthly update of Open to Buy report and analysis

Qualifications and competencies:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics
·  Quantitative and analytical skills
·  Passion for product and numbers
·  Strong interpersonal skills; team-work oriented
·  Independence, ability to work with strict deadlines and to deliver against set objectives 
·  Positive and proactive attitude
·  Good knowledge of the Office package, proficient in Excel
·  Fluent in English and Italian
