Mens Knit Design Assistant

Job description

As the Mens Knit Design Assistant, your role is to provide support to the MRTW design team with any task they require to have completed and must follow the Designer's briefs. You will be expected to provide design and administrative support to the MRTW Designer at all times.

Whilst assisting and reporting to the MRTW designer your duties will include supporting the Designer and helping with the following:

· Research, finding inspirational research and materials
· Maintaining and updating archives
· Archiving materials
· Filing research
· Sketching
· Making Swatches/ mockups/ trials
· Photoshop illustrations
· Updating accessory databases
· Other administrative tasks required by the MRTW designer
· Competent design experience
· Very Good understanding of British fashion houses
· Creative with a commercial sensibility
· Strong understanding of market and competitors

Technical Knowledge

· Competent design experience
