Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sales & Demand Planner  who will report to the  Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager based in our central London offices .

Your Opportunity:

Alexander McQueen is in search of a Sales & Demand Planner to further support Supply Chain department. Position will provide a strong foundation for a passionate individual looking to pursue a career in Supply Chain Management, gaining exposure to product outflows, alongside gaining exposure to global data analytics.

How you will contribute :  

Build a good knowledge of market specificities and a collaborative relationship with local teams to find the right balance between sales & stock optimization.

Drive daily stock allocations from central and local warehouses to stores, considering sales, stock levels, and specific market requests.

Action changes to assortment model (seasonal phase in/out, AIS scope review, sku code substitutions, etc.).

Propose adjustments to store and market replenishment parameters to further improve outflow efficiency and improve service level.

Adapt replenishment mappings to open orders redirections and stock rebalancing activities.

Publish and distribute analysis on stock availability and gap between sales forecast and actual sales. Suggest corrective actions needed.

Retro plan new stores openings to allocate initial stock on time and activate auto-replenishment.

Protect replenishment calculation accuracy by performing regular checks and liaising with Share team. Test Share tool enhancements and support new projects.

Responsible for uniforms, packaging and outlet stock allocation.

Additional ad-hoc projects.

Your Skills and Experience:   

Working in the Sales and Demand Planning team requires a high level of product sensitivity, proactivity and an analytical mind. Excellent organization and communication skills are fundamental to success in the role and an ability to think fast in an entrepreneurial manner is necessary.

Previous experience working in the luxury industry (desirable).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational skills, to effectively manage a fast paced and varied workload.

Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in speaking with a number of stakeholders.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced level).

Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Business Management or Supply Chain Management).

Italian is a plus, additional languages highly desirable.

Willing to travel as required.
