Alexander McQueen currently have an exciting opportunity for a Omnichannel Merchandiser to join our growing Merchandising team based in our Central London HQ.
Reporting in to the Senior Omnichannel Merchandising Manager you will be responsible for delivering the seasonal RTW and Accessories assortment for Brand Websites and direct E-Concessions to ensure they deliver the various E-Business door strategies whilst aligning with the global strategy. You will use your insights to deliver and trade an assortment that balances image and commercial needs.
How you will contribute?
Buy
·
Responsible for the Seasonal buy across all categories (RTW, Leather Goods and Accessories) for omnichannel doors.
·
Contribute to the assortment strategy focusing on KPI’s (sell-through, category and sub dept mix, sizing and pricing strategy) for Seasonal and Carryover.
·
Ensure OTB allocation aligns with door performance and future growth plan.
·
Contribute to buying debrief presentation.
Presentation of the Assortment and Seasonal Launches
·
With the support of the Omnichannel Merchandising Assistant, create the seasonal Styling Guide, ensuring image of the house is accurately followed – obtaining sign off from Product Merchandising.
·
Ensure clear communication of the Styling Guide to the image producer/content team, with occasional support on shoots.
·
Delivery of seasonal product trainings to Omnichannel & Client Service teams, ensuring the buy strategy is communicated.
·
Manage the VM for brand websites – ensure pages are relevant and up to date, strategically highlighting key image and investments across the site(s).
·
Coordinate VM across the site(s) for seasonal launches - obtaining sign off from Product Merchandising.
·
Weekly digital walk throughs of the sites with Global Retail Merch team to optimise product display, aligned to global strategy and shifting market needs – VM & taxonomy.
·
Collaboration with CRM & Digital Marketing teams to ensure communication plans align with investments, buys strategy & stock availability.
·
Collaboration with Content team to optimize the website customer experience and journey – site navigation, content, and layout.
·
Coordination of pricing changes with omnichannel and e-concession partners.
Stock
·
Ensure stock is optimised across Seasonal and Carryover product - track performance and monitor sell through by door to identify opportunities and risks, taking relevant action.

Work closely with Retail Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to track deliveries.
·
Track ‘Live Online vs. In Stock’ & ‘Code Substitutions’ to ensure stock is optimised across your doors.
·
Coordinate end of season markdown, RTV’s and de-publishing of the assortment - close collaboration with operational omnichannel team and e-concession partners.
Trading
·
Deliver weekly trade report on category performance and sell through, presenting the regional trading patterns to deliver weekly insights and actions.
·
Coordinate with direct E-Concession partners to deliver weekly concessions trade reports.
Regional Collaboration
·
Collaborate and support regional merchandising teams on Seasonal online activities (CVD, 11/11, 618 in China), providing VM support and stock visibility when needed.
Who you are?
·
Strong product sensibility, experience with buying, product & trading.
·
Advanced Excel Skills
·
Prior experience with e-concessions &/or within digital buying/merchandising is desirable.
·
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
·
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
·
Collaborative team player with the ability to work with a diverse range of internal & external partners & stakeholders.
·
Naturally proactive and a creative problem solver – with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks when needed.
·
Willingness to travel internationally when required.
