Then come lead with us as you manage several small to medium food process engineering projects, while leading through concept, design and early capital project execution. You work closely with other functions to help them understand food processing and operations. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Driving Technical Solutions - for Innovation and Supply Chain through delivery of cost effective, high quality scope development and effective team collaboration to lead capital project teams from early concept through plant specific detailed design, maintaining accountability for the technical performance of the scope. Additionally, applying people safety and food safety standards and principles, appropriate to designs and solutions.
· Delivering Project Accountabilities - through effective risk management, driving scope alignment, leveraging global technical expertise and leveraging standard designs and specifications. Exhibiting innovation in discovery, advancing, and evaluating of new processing and equipment technologies. Includes technologies that may advance capabilities, efficiencies, reliability and cost.
· Driving capabilities - by developing as a technical expert in various complete production systems for food processing, and developing expertise in multiple unit operations used to produce food products. This knowledge is utilized to create and define new processes or operating procedures that lead to a competitive advantage for the Company.
· Leadership and Results - Leveraging and influencing our people network, plant network, vendors, technologies and experts around you to excel in your job. Working with multiple manufacturing facilities in supporting process performance including, documentation, communication, analysis, trouble-shooting, and follow-up.

Required:

·  High School Diploma and Substantial experience in Engineering (Food, Biosystems, Chemical, or Mechanical)
·  Substantial project experience with Consumer packaged goods, specifically Food/Beverage or Pharmaceutical
·  Demonstrated ability to work and operate in a collaborative project environment
Bonus Points:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Food, Biosystems, Chemical, or Mechanical)
·  Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and an owner's mindset? We need you!
·  Prior or current Kellogg experience
·  Project experience in the food industry in related role

THE FINER PRINT

This role requires 30 to 50% travel. Some of the travel may be international.
