Job description

Due to the growing demands of our fashion concessions business in John Lewis, Debenhams, we are now recruiting for a “Fashion Merchandising Assistant” to join our creative workforce located in Upminster RM14 ( zone 6/ London ) & Basildon SS15

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the new season product catalogs, bar codes, goods in stock, oncoming stocks, in order to ensuring the forward orders; Regularly present trends, developments, CAD work and ranges to
established customers.
2. Assisting our in-house design/ merchandising team on product information , requirements, delivery time lines, standards etc.
3. Work closely with designers and together develop collections. Work to targets and driving business forward.
4. Weekly sales analysis and attend weekly critical path meetings.
5. Assisting & developing business events and shows on a regularly basis,
6. Booking in stock in i-level system, transferring stock , arrange deliveries with hosts such as John Lewis,Debenhams etc.
7. Completing the weekly new intake sheets with 3 main hosts with correct product information and images uploading to hosts;

Skills required:

• Excellent skill of using Word and Excel is an essential for this job;
• Be degree educated, Fashion merchandising, marketing , design etc. preferred
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Be willing to take on responsibility and work to tight deadlines

You should be driven, professional, courteous, energetic and work well alone and as members of a team. Executive sales assistants also need to follow the instructions of supervisors, with a strong understanding of the company's mission and sales goals.

We take talented internships without experience:

Payment: Start from £18K per annual = £8.75 per hour,

and for who already had at least 2 years employment history on the Fashion Merchandising role, we will pay from £10 per hour ;

Hours: Initially working hours is 32 hours per week, possibly leading to Full Time;

Immediately start ;

Working hours: Weekdays from 9am to 6pm ( 8 hours per day , 1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Payment terms:
Weekly payment for Freelancers
Monthly payment for Employees
