£18,000 per annual --Warehouse Operative& Picker/Packer

Job description

Due to the growing demands of our fashion online business,We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse operative & Picker/ Packer for to join our busy warehouse team.

Duties:

Picking and Packing Internet orders
Handling Internet returns and updating stock levels.
Labeling swing tags on the garments;
Picking and Packing the wholesale orders, sealing boxes;
Manual handling pallet trucks;
Building up boxes on pallets; wrapping pallets;
Booking deliveries and tracking the status of the parcels;
Emptying trucks that come in to warehouse.
Manual handling, loading and unloading deliveries/boxes.
Picking goods against sales orders.
Ensuring that correct goods and quantities are picked.
Keeping the warehouse and packing room in a safe and tidy condition.
Working to set deadlines in an accurate, timely manner
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organisational standards
Ensuring the floor is free of any dangerous substances
Assisting other warehouse colleagues to ensure all work is completed in good time.
Maintaining health and Safety Standards
Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment

Payment:

Yearly Salary: £18,000 per annual
or
Hourly rate:
*Weekdays ( 9am to 6pm) £8.00 to £9.00 per hour
*Weekends (11am to 8pm) £9.00 to £10.00 per hour
*Night shifts ( 5pm to 3am ) £10.00 to £11.00 per hour
depending on experience and efficiency

Hours:

40 hours per week,
Rota pattern: Any 5 days from 7 INCLUDING WEEKENDS!

Desired profile

Minimum 1 year work experience in warehouse picking and packing orders;
Good English level communication skills;
Experience of working within a warehouse environment
Experience of working with targets
Experience of using computers for social and business purpose
Excellent eye for detail
Proven ability to use own initiative
Good organisational and time management skill
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
