Job description

DePuy Synthes are currently recruiting for an Inventory Analyst (Secondment – 12 months), this opportunity is responsible for developing and executing integrated components of the supply chain strategy with a focus on inventory management. Creating, implementing and then governing the ongoing sustainability of improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Process Governance / Ownership

Accountable for process standardization and alignment across functions, markets and franchises / regions.

Accountable for the regular measurement of process compliance.

Accountable for the creation & maintenance of all required process-related documentation.

Govern Supply Chain design by collecting supply and demand data; incorporating data into business strategies and assess the impact of results to modify and optimize the SC network plus perform cost analysis; publish & present results.

Inventory management responsibilities globally along with QA Cages across the network

Process Improvement

Accountable for identifying, developing and implementing standardized process enhancements and / or introducing new processes and policies based on their functional expertise, benchmarking, innovation and lean principles.

Participate in or create and maintain a functional community of practices with key subject matter experts (SMEs) to facilitate the sharing of best practice and manage process or cost improvement projects.

Change Management

Responsible for the controlled and compliant implementation of process changes including all Change Management and Change Control processes.

Accountable, through training or by other means, for the effective progression of the users through the change curve such that the benefits of the process improvement can be realized.

Analytics

Govern Supply Chain design by collecting supply and demand data; incorporating data into business strategies and assess the impact of results to modify and optimize the SC network plus perform cost analysis; publish & present results.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Education:

University Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable but not essential.

Experience:

1 - 5 Years related experience

Knowledge, skills and capabilities:

• Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.

• Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and all levels.

• Ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to large and complex projects.

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication skills required.

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio while experience with Tableau is desirable.

• Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality &/or Ability to work with Continuous Improvement tools.

Location of Role: Cork, Ireland

Language Requirements: English

Travel Requirements: 15% travel domestically and internationally.
