The Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group, part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting for an Analyst, Contract Management to be located in Irvine, CA.

The CSS Group consists of six diverse businesses including Acclarent, Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), Biosense Webster (BWI), Codman Neuro, Mentor, and Sterilmed. The CSS Group serves a diverse base of customers in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology (EP), Neurovascular and Neurosurgery, Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics, and Reprocessing.

The Analyst, Contract Management position is responsible for offer development, contract provisions, terms & conditions review, implementation and management for CSS U.S. customer-facing teams. These contracts include, but are not limited to, sales, evaluation, consignment, Pricing, third-party agreements for IDN's, Hospitals, and Government. This position will support the review, preparation and execution of RFI's and RFP's including data analysis. This position will also manage pricing requests, support pricing initiatives, promotions and programs and data management.
This position will work closely with the Sr. Contracts Manager, Contracts, Sr. Analyst, Contract Management, Pricing and Compliance Department, Corporate Accounts and commercial leaders in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares sales contracts utilizing approved contract templates for GPO's, IDN's, Hospitals and Government including amendments.

• Supports preparation, review and execution of RFI's and RFP's for GPO's, IDN's, Hospitals and Government

• Completes review and analysis of capital promotions including financial requirements and strategic impact.

• Manages disposable tier pricing strategy including analysis, price integrity, implementation and customer communication

• Meets as needed with field sales associates, sales management, legal department and others as needed to discuss agreement requirements, terms and conditions review.

• Reviews requests for pricing exceptions with management, legal, finance, marketing

• Receives and processes sales contracts, coordinates with JJHCS for order processing.

• Monitors customer contract compliance as required in contract terms and conditions and make recommendations to the contract management if contract modifications are required.

• Works with JJHCS Government Risk Assessment as needed with respect to contracts for federal, state and local government entities.

• Provides reports and information to field sales associates as requested, can include contract pricing information, sales history data, agreement status.

• Provides reports and information to sales management as requested, can include department metrics, execution rates, promotion utilization, and purchase history.

• Supports product and marketing program launches, providing subject matter expertise in the area of contract management and execution.

• Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

• Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition

• Responsible for Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

• Performs other duties assigned as needed

Desired profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Contracting or related field is preferred

• Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in Contracting, Sales & Marketing or Finance Management is required

• Current or previous experience in the medical device industry or an FDA regulated industry is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales / customer focused environment is required

• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills required (advanced Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) is required

• Proven strong analytic skills (advanced Excel) are required

• Proven leadership skills are required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required

• Ability to work in a team environment is required

• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines is required

• Ability to present detail data in a clear and concise manner is required

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complexity is required

• Expertise in contracting business processes is required

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills is required

• Previous experience working with customer facing teams is preferred

• This position is located in Irvine, CA and will require up to 20% domestic travel
