Duties & Responsibilities

We're looking for a Home Economist with a real passion for food and cooking equipment and truly enjoys sharing this with customers to transform their shopping experience. Each day is different, from arranging cooking demonstrations and working with brands to teaching intimate courses supported by our Waitrose Cookery School. You will inspire customers to learn new skills and buy the key products that will enable them to create exceptional food.

Job Requirements

You will be a key Partner in delivering extraordinary service for our customers by offering a truly unique experience through your expert knowledge and skill. As well as delivering a personalised service whilst running classes you will be confident in presenting to groups so you can showcase the latest John Lewis and Waitrose products.

We are looking for a Home Economist who will be an ambassador for both brands to entice and inspire customers to shop with us. With an ever changing calendar of events and products, you will be adaptable and able to create innovative displays and interactive experiences.

Catering and Hospitality qualification
Relevant experience in Restaurants, Hospitality or Catering,
