Your Responsibilities

As a User Experience Researcher for the John Deere Order Management Program User Experience (UX) team, located in Moline, IL, you will be responsible for collaborating with software engineers and UX designers to drive the overall design and development of the JohnDeere Sales Center user interface. Your primary responsibility will be in the area of user interface usability and research. Your duties will include:

 

·  Conducting UX research for dealership systems
·  Conducting UX research at dealer events
·  Working with UX designers to implement solutions to concerns uncovered in research
·  Creating research reports, user journey maps, workflows, personas, day-in-the-life scenarios, and use case summaries to help deepen the organizational understanding of our users
·  Working with designers and software engineers to prototype and evaluate alternate solutions

What Skills You Need

 

·  3 or more years of professional experience in UX research
·  Experience collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions
·  Experience delivering production-ready,clean and usable digital user interfaces across multiple form factors
·  Experience working in a team environment
·  Effective interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
·  2 or more years of work experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
·  4 or more years of varied UX design experience (e.g. creating wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes and specifications)

 

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

 

·  Expertise in InVision and A/B testing
·  Knowledge of statistics and research study design
·  Experience in design thinking
·  4 or more years of experience in working in an Agile environment
·  Knowledge of dealer workflows, challenges and needs

 

Education (or equivalent work experience)

 

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent discipline
