Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer for the John Deere Order Management Program User Experience Team , located in Moline, IL, you will be responsible for user interface development of shared components within John Deere Sales Center (JDSC). Your duties for this position will include:
· Writing and reviewing front end code for JDSC
· Participate in discussions with core technical teams and extended functional teams to understand technical requirements required to satisfy business requirements
· Support efforts to standardize on a single UI framework in JDSC
· Support efforts to maximize component re-use in JDSC
· Participate in a variety of efforts related directly and indirectly to front-end development

What Skills You Need
· Working knowledge and experience in UI development with a strong desire to grow and learn in various leading-edge UI technologies
· 1 or more years of experience with software development/testing/deployment life cycle and best practices
· Experience developing in React framework
· 1 or more years of experience in analyzing and translating business requirements into technical solutions
· 1 or more years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture, including SOAP/REST web services
· 1 or more years of experience working with a distributed computing environment
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
What Makes You Stand Out
Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
· Experience with test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI)
· Experience in backend tools and technologies like Git, MongoDB, GrayLog, SONAR, SOLR, AppDynamics, REST APIs
· Knowledge with Agile/Iterative project management methodologies
· 2 or more years of experience working with Cloud
· Knowledge of Deere IT hosting infrastructure/organization and support processes
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
· Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science/Engineering
