Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer-Java Front End in the John Deere Order Management (OM) program, you will get the opportunity to work on a large-scale global web application in a Fortune 500 company that is regularly ranked among the best companies to work for in the country. Employees joining our development teams will immediately be immersed in a culture where we emphasize personal and professional growth. This position will be on the Order Management John Deere Financial Wholesale Financing Service team which will be among the first in the company to adopt the new Global IT Agile Operating Model. The person filling this position will work on a product team and support product design by planning its work, coordinating with other teams, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the products it supports.

What Skills You Need
· Capable of collaborating to provide information technology solutions
· Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of low/medium complex software solutions
· Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
· Capable of interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
· Working experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
· Working understanding of User Experience framework, tools, and principles to drive front-end designs
· Knowledge of front-end optimization
· Working understanding with HTML5, or Fiori UI5, or equivalent front-end language
· Working understanding designing and implementing JavaScript UI applications with React.js, Jquery, or Angular.js
What Makes You Stand Out
· Knowledge of designing and implementing mobile applications or responsive web applications
· Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD
· Knowledge of TDD practices
· Knowledge of User Empathy / Design Thinking
· Knowledge of authentication and authorization schemes
Education (or equivalent work experience)
· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
