Title: Software Engineer, Data Services - 60532 

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer for the John Deere Order Management Program on the JDE Data Services and Integrations, located in Moline, IL, you will be enabling and delivering solutions that will enable dealers to interact with John Deere via web applications and APIs. In addition, you will:

·  Migrate legacy data into our new solutions
·  Maintain and manage quality data in our test environments
·  Act as a subject matter expert for data relating to Order Management
·  Deliver and maintain APIs for third party integrations

What Skills You Need

·  Experience collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions
·  2 or more years of experience with Java web development with Spring and RESTful APIs or ABAP development with Rest/SOAP based services
·  4 or more years of varied DB experience (e.g. DBS, SQL Server, MongoDB, Hibernate, SQL, MySql, DB2, SAP Hana)  
·  Proven experience working in a team environment
·  Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
·  Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
·  4 or more years of experience with TDD and acceptance test-driven development utilizing J-Unit, Cucumber, Cypress, Puppeteer, ABAP Unit, etc.
·  Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of highly complex software solutions
·  2 or more years of work experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

·  4 or more years of experience with SAP SD, MM, VMS, ABAP development, and use of the ODATA model to provide RESTful services
·  2 or more years of experience using data migration tools (Informatica, Pentaho, SAP Data Services, etc.)
·  Experience working with equipment business processes and sales tools applications
·  Experience with full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures
·  Experience working within a cloud development with platforms like AWS or Azure
·  Experience working within an Agile environment

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

·  Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science/Engineering
