Your Responsibilities

As a Product Owner , for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG-Urbandale) , you will join a team of passionate software developers in the development of precision agriculture software products. In addition, you will:

·  Serve as the Product Owner for one or more delivery teams in the development of web applications, mobile applications, or RESTful APIs
·  Work with key business stakeholders to define product requirements, work prioritization, and delivery cadences
·  Lead product acceptance criteria definition, validation, and verification activities
·  Break down product requirements into executable team user stories
·  Engage in Agile software development activities including team sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives
·  Support a culture of software craftsmanship best practices including Test Automation and Continuous Delivery

What Skills You Need

·  4 or more years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Program Manager, or related product delivery role
·  2 or more years of experience with software product/application delivery
·  2 or more years of experience with Agile development methodologies
·  Experience with formalizing product requirements through user stories
·  Effective communication, prioritization, and analytical skills

What Makes You Stand Out

·  Experience with Agronomic Data or Data Analysis
·  Experience with Precision Ag technologies and their use
·  Experience with product test automation tools and strategies
·  Experience presenting technical information (written or verbal)

Education (or equivalent work experience)

·  Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science or Technology related discipline
