The Summer 2020 Product Engineering Internship Program is for students enrolled in major fields of study that align with full-time employment opportunities at John Deere. Students may enter the program during undergraduate or graduate studies. The majority of our internship experiences are offered in the summer months, usually lasting 13 weeks.

 

What You'll Do

·  Specify designs, develop, test, and document major electrical, electromechanical, electrohydraulic functions/subsystems for equipment projects.
·  Produce and evaluate possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications together with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
·  Execute test or analysis plan for product verification and validation.

What You Need

·  Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior standing
·  Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
·  Desired cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Minimum cumulative GPA required of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
·  We have internship locations across the United States so you must be willing to relocate domestically.
