Function: Manufacturing Engineering
Title: Part-Time Student - Manufacturing Engineering - Waterloo, IA - 56805 

Your Responsibilities

·  Reviewing and documenting all perishable tooling associated with production gear cutting.
·  Managing perishable tooling data from factory floor and entering this data into TDM database.
·  Creation of Auto Cad drawings of perishable tooling.

What It Takes

·  Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
·  Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and dependability.
·  Basic understanding of metal mechanical properties.
·  Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or computer/information science area of study preferred.
·  Must be a full-time student at a local university or college (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc.)
·  If currently attending a community college, must be planning to pursue a 4-year degree
·  Must be available to work a minimum of 12 months 
·  Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
·  Graduation date of December 2020 or later 
·  Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
·  16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
·  35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

·  Experience with operation of computerized machinery.
·  Interest and Aptitude for Technology.
