Title: IT System Administrator 

Primary Location: Mexico (MX)  - Coahuila (MX-COA)  - Torreon 

Function: Information Technology

Main Responsibilities:

 

·  Make sure the system components are in the optimum conditions; Database, servers, etc
·  Manage and configure IIS for the systems
·  Member of the deployment team, make sure the support to deliver solutions to the business partners with quality following the internal standards
·  Occasional weekend maintenance activities for the supported systems
·  Automate repetitive processes/tasks
·  Participate in creation of project plans and schedules to meet business requirements
·  Windows servers migrations; application/scheduled tasks/services migration and configuration, configuration of server security, IIS, etc
·  Systems account management activities
·  Supports, evaluates, and continuously improves information technology and business processes to maintain alignment with business plans of medium complexity and moderate risk
·  Participates in the implementation of information technology and business processes of medium complexity
·  Manage and support Service bus
·  Manage EAM system
·  Generate metrics related to system performance, uptime, availability, etc.
·  Perform monitoring activities related to Performance/servers/Database of the systems
·  Create alert configurations in the servers, database and Bartender
·  Collaborate with the team to follow-up and solve Audit comments, create business case exceptions when needed
·  Work closely with Architects, Developers and support team members through the AGILE methodology to follow-up on activities such as deployments, migrations, etc.
·  Act as the key JDES IT contact in major Infrastructure changes related to the supported systems (Database changes/refresh/upgrades, Server changes, etc.) and provide guidance to the Global teams involved.

 

What Skills You Need:

 

·  Excellent understanding of Oracle technology (security, sessions, schemas, etc.)
·  Good understating of SQL Server 2012 or higher (security, sessions, schemas, etc.)
·  Strong ability to query and manipulate data in Oracle and SQL databases.
·  Excellent understanding of database, network, servers and how they relate to software applications.
·  Strong knowledge of windows servers management
·  Experience working with applications, data, infrastructure, and/or IT security. - 1 - 3 years
·  Excellent IIS knowledge
·  Good understanding of .net frameworks and versions.
·  Basic understanding of the software development life cycle -Good understanding of Application security, authentication/authorization methods and security best practices
·  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
·  Strong understating on alerting/monitoring tools
·  Good written and spoken English skills required to be successful in the position (Requires frequent interaction with US team members).

·  Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

·  Prior experience/ good understanding of continuous delivery tools
·  Application Support Experience
·  Deployment Process Knowledge.

 

Education (or equivalent experience):

 

·  Degree in Computer Science or related field.
