Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center office in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

 

GL ACCOUNTANT M/F

 

What You’ll Do

 

The general task of GL Accountant is to perform GL tasks related to month and year closing and maintaining good relations with business partners.

 

In addition, you will:

·  migrate GL processes from Germany to Poland and prepare necessary documentation
·  post and verify invoices
·  reconcile intercompany JD units
·  process outgoing and incoming payments
·  work on process improvements
·  provide support to less experienced employees - acting as a Trainer and securing knowledge transfer on an appropriate level
·  closely cooperating with German GL team
·  prepare reports
 

What It Takes

We need an excellent communicator in English, written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global, interdisciplinary team environment. Ideally, you will have the long-term experience in Finance & Accountancy field, especially in GL related tasks.

We also require:

·  University degree in Finance/Accounting
·  Proficiency in English, command of German would be an advantage
·  Accounting knowledge
·  SAP skills
·  Experience in business use of MS Excel
·  Solution-oriented way of working
·  Analytical skills and affinity to numbers
