Your Responsibilities

 

As an Apptio Product Owner , working for John Deere World Headquarters Global IT Product Portfolio Team, you will implement the digital roadmap for the Apptio Platform, a Global IT Technology Business Management System.  In addition, you will:

 

·  Define the digital roadmap for Apptio IT Financial Management Foundational (ITFMF) related tools, platform and systems
·  Define the digital roadmap for the Apptio Cost Transparency (Product & Service Financial Management – PSFM Replacement) related tools and systems
·  Driving business value and efficiencies within the organization through the deployment of Apptio tools and systems
·  Make final decisions on product functionality and ensuring that functionality is aligned with Digital Product Manager's strategic vision for the products
·  Maintain and refine the Apptio Platform and ITFMF and the Cost Transparency product backlog
·  Ensuring feature definition, acceptance criteria, and stories clearly communicate customer/stakeholder needs to the team; works with the team to clarify as necessary
·  Understand and support inter-team dependencies and impediments and escalate issues when necessary
·  Partnering with and drive the priorities of the internal and external Apptio Delivery teams, when it is delivered and whether it meets expectations
·  Represent the Customer and Stakeholder interests
·  Establish, nurture, and communicate the Product Vision to the Team and Stakeholders
·  Work collaboratively with infrastructure, security, and other partners
·  Ensure delivery team align their efforts to the needs of the business and work within the framework of overall IT strategy

·  Experience leading change management efforts within a dispersed business organization
·  Ability to understand how technology can be applied to streamline business processes, drive value and create efficiencies
·  Ability to clearly articulate the tangible and intangible value of what is being delivered
·  Experience influencing without authority
·  Experience with Product Portfolio Processes and Tools
·  Ability to speak with impact at all levels of the organization
·  Experience leading large programs including prioritization of work
·  Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%
·  Strong Attention to Detail / Analytical Skills / Data Validation and Processing

 

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

·  Experience in and willingness to operate in Agile environments
·  Experience in business process change management and organizational training
·  Business experience associated to GL Accounting data, Product Portfolio Processes, IT Recovery Data and/or with IT Costing (PLR) Data
·  Experience coaching other team members, and driving technical standards and processes
·  Advanced communication skills; ability to translate non-technical concepts into technical specifications
·  Experience in Information Technology and software delivery practices
·  Ability to translate non-technical concepts into technical specifications

 

Education (or equivalent work experience)

 

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent discipline
