POSITION­: Research Analyst, Public Institutions    

LOCATION: Chicago or Washington, DC

BUSINESS FUNCTION: Americas Research

REPORTING TO: Senior Research Director

JLL (NYSE: JLL), a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management, is seeking a Research Analyst to support our Public Institutions Group.

Responsibilities

• Generate new research content relevant to government, higher education and other public-sector institutions, including published reports and insights, to demonstrate expertise in the marketplace and position JLL as thought leaders with clients and prospects.

• Guide business strategy through data-driven research, including market sizing, market share, opportunity assessment, client and competitor analysis.

• Produce papers and presentations on existing and exploratory strategies to advance and refine strategic plans.

• Present research findings on leadership calls and through direct client interactions.

• Coordinate projects nationally or across markets, leveraging local resources and expertise as appropriate.

• Respond to general research requests from client service delivery teams.

• Provide direct input and participation on specific sales, contracts and consulting deliverables.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.

• Resourcefulness, with the ability to obtain data and insights through grassroots primary research, as well as through advanced understanding of internal tools, technologies and subscription-based data sources.

• 4+ years professional experience in the field(s) of research, consulting, real estate and/or financial services.

This position will be based in either Washington, DC or Chicago and may require periodic travel.
