This is initially a 4 month Fixed Term appointment, seeing you through to May 2020, but has the possibility of extension.

What's the role?

We're looking for an experienced Property Accountant to work across in our Retail team.
Your key focus will be assisting in the financial control of a portfolio of properties for our clients. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly team and to join an industry leader in the property sector.

Key responsibilities;

·  Maintain all property financial information in MRI
·  Processing journal entries
·  Ensure rent rolls are finalised and tenant statements are issued on time.
·  Assist in allocation of EFT rental payments from tenants
·  Process client remittances
·  Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports
·  Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recovery
·  Raise monthly management commissions
·  Reconcile GST reports
·  Contact client accounting staff on month end reporting
·  Ensure completion of month end financial reporting

 
Sound like you?

You've got commercial accounting experience, ideally gained within property management accounting.

You have a relevant Accounting degree and have completed your CA/CPA

You have experience using MRI
You're a great communicator and your skills will enable you to liaise with all relevant stakeholders including clients, property managers, leasing executives and senior management.
