Lead Mobile Engineer (iOS/Android)

The JLL Digital Products team aims to bring successful technology-based products to market in a high-growth environment. The team’s mission is focused on accelerating technology adoption in commercial real estate by bringing creative, innovative and technical solutions to solve large, complex problems for our clients.

The Mobile Lead is a leadership position on the Digital Products team, responsible for defining the technology frameworks for mobile development. This position requires interaction with the Account Leadership team, Client, Vendors, Operational, and Support staff and will be a fast paced environment consistent with handling multiple management demands.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mobile Lead, you will be responsible for:

·  Defining the technology frameworks for mobile development on Android and iOS
·  Hiring and retaining top mobile talent
·  Collaborating with PM and UX teams on product roadmap
·  Delivering high quality products that use good design patterns and are future proofed
·  Delivering code that is well tested and meets performance KPIs
·  Staying on top of the latest developments in mobile frameworks and utilizing them in our products as appropriate

Qualifications:

·  5+ years professional software development experience on the iOS/Android platform
·  Expertise in Objective-C, Swift, and Java
·  Experience building/shipping/maintaining multiple commercial iOS/Android applications
·  Deep understanding of REST API design
·  Strong testing practices
·  Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
·  Designing software in an agile manner, but maintaining a focus on future enhancements
·  Minimum 2 years as tech lead of mobile development team
·  BS in EE or CS
