We are looking for EMEA CS PDS - Business Analyst.

EMEA Corporate Solutions - Regional Project & Development Services (P&DS) – Program Management Office (PMO)

Job Summary/Goals

The role will report to the EMEA Product Owner and support EMEA wide roll-out of project management system for P&DS business through liaising with stakeholders on different levels to analyse requirements, deliver, present and maintain reports created both in Tableau and in the project management tool.

This position is responsible for end-to-end business intelligence solutions through sourcing data from an MS SQL Server environment according to business requirements. This includes both one-off as well as standard reporting solutions.

Key to the role will be the capability to perform requirements and business process analysis to identify, prepare and transform the data before presenting it back through reporting technologies such as Tableau.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process Analysis (30%)


·  Critically assess the client requirements and recommend best practices
·  Create a platform process to support the real business process
·  Create a platform process to support the capture of the data and ensure its quality
·  Set-up performance and governance metrics

Data transformation and data preparation (10%)

·  Work with SQL Server Management Studio to access source data.
·  Design and implement basic ETL processes.
·  Maintain and administer all solutions developed.
·  Design and execute data transformations in SQL for the needs of visual reporting.

Business Intelligence reporting (30%)

·  Deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence solution based on client reporting requirements.
·  Design and build dashboards in Tableau.
·  Deliver ad-hoc reporting solutions and resolve any issues related to this.
·  Document the reporting solutions.
·  Maintain and administer BI Platforms.

Relationship Management (20%)

·  Engage internal and external clients within the region as required.
·  Contribute to team initiatives and act as point of cover for the Analytics Manager.
·  Develop a global network of key contacts and counterparts globally.

Innovation (10%)

·  Continually seek to improve team capabilities through identification and presentation of better ways of working.
·  Maintain awareness of technology developments in the industry.

·  Effective delivery of solutions against well documented business requirements
·  Development of reporting and analytical solutions.
·  Successful adoption of delivered reporting by clients and internal stakeholders.

Competencies

·  Process-driven with a project-based background
·  Analytical and consultative ideally with business process analytical background
·  Demonstrates initiative in identifying innovative solutions to complex problems
·  Understands business reporting around cost, revenue, time, resources, targets and other typically used business measures.
·  Client and service-oriented way of working with strong people skills.
·  Ability to clearly communicate with audiences at different levels of the business.
·  Ability to conceive coherent end-to-end BI solutions to meet client requirements.
·  Ability to work independently and communicate risks appropriately.
·  Ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks and demands and meet expected deadlines.

Experience

·  Experience of visual data analysis delivery in Tableau is a must.
·  Practical knowledge and demonstrable application of one or more of the leading RDBMS platforms (MSSQL Server would be considered as an additional asset).
·  Experience in query languages (specifically SQL).
·  Experience of working in an international organisation with multiple competing priorities and stakeholders.
·  Fluent English.

Qualifications

·  Educated to Degree level or equivalent
·  3+ years of work experience in consulting, technology or analytics preferred
