Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager

Regional Finance - Singapore

What this job involves:

Budgeting, Forecasting and Operating Reviews

You will support with annual budgeting, quarterly operating reviews and forecast activities across APAC. This includes assisting with communicating clear timelines, ownership, objectives and guidelines, guiding local finance teams towards completing budget, operating reviews and forecast activities in an accurate, consistent and timely fashion, and organizing reviews between regional management and country management & finance teams. You will consolidate, review and analyse submitted financials for APAC, support quarterly reviews and annual budget review with global management, provide post-mortem analysis on areas to improve, demonstrate year on year improvement on budget process and manage utility of the financial planning system with support from IT team.

Business Support and Other Projects

This role will involve providing business support to regional business network groups. We will rely on your expertise in other projects such as reviewing capital expenditure business cases e.g. space requirements, opening of new cities, etc., participating in fit-gap and enhancement activities of systems impacting financials, supporting reporting work stream in Global Project rollout in 2019 and any ad hoc projects as assigned from time to time.

You are able to work independently or within a team environment and with multiple priorities. You possess strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting & planning software, processes and good practices. You demonstrate the ability to prioritise, drive difficult decisions and resolve problems or improve operations. You actively identify opportunities and drive initiatives that are commercially viable as well as business and customer focused. The ability to influence business partners and deliver impactful results is key.

Strong Communicator

You possess strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Good analytical skills and a strong understanding of the markets in which JLL operates will be highly desirable. High speed of establishing trust  and transparency are valued traits.

A Collaborative and People Person

You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage diverse range of service providers, client representatives and internal customers providing support and advice where needed. As the role is a regional one, it is essential you have experience managing relationships across cultures, geographies and functions and can work effectively with stakeholders at different levels.

Accountable

You will be accountable to the firm and its regulators for decisions, advice and actions taken by you.

Meticulous

You have an eye for detail, particularly to interpret supplied information and understand sources and challenges where necessary.
