What this job involves:

We are currently looking for a dynamic and customer focused Assistant Facilities Manager to join one of our successful onsite teams! In this pivotal role you will be the ‘go-to’ person for all facilities related issues for our client, a market leading global tech company. You’ll assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of the site to ensure all operational aspects are running smoothly.

Here’s a snapshot of the role:

Customer Service: Develop a working relationship & cultivate property expertise credibility with the client/occupier(s) at your sites to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded.

Contract Management: Manage maintenance contracts including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, security, building fabric, fire and soft services contracts as applicable for each site.

Reporting: Provide input as required in to the leadership reports to our Client.

This role is all about leadership and ‘kicking goals’ for our client, so you’ll need outstanding interpersonal and communication skills! You’ll be a self-starter who works well with the pressure of deadlines and knows how to get the best out of yourself and your team. You will, alongside the facilities management team, form a strong relationship with both contractors and tenants.
