Job description
Provide administrative accounting support to a Finance & Accounting team. Focus on accurate invoicing and billing along with supporting in composing accounting reports and financial packages.
Job Responsibilities
Area of Responsibility Key Elements and Essential Tasks
Complete invoices accurately and timely
Support in Preparation of monthly and yearly accrual
Support month-end and year-end close activities, from balance sheet and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparation.
Recognize and endorse process improvements to improve productivity and efficiency
Ensure compliance with both Jones Lang LaSalle Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services
Assisting with monthly review of arrears
Assist with client invoice audits as required
Electronic submission of invoices to customer
Coordinate with the Billing Manager and other departments to respond to billing inquiries
Research client history and provide past data when necessary
Maintain and update various monthly checklists containing client and billing information
Accounts Payable duties
Enter billing adjustments
Accounts Receivable duties
Maintain documentation of all procedures within the invoicing process
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned
General finance administration duties where required · Assist the accounting team as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
MINIMUM REQUIRED PREFERRED
Education/training · H.S Diploma · Associates degree in Accounting · Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (experience with Access a plus) • · Experience with real estate accounting software a plus
Years of relevant experience · 1-2 years bookkeeping/accounting and/or AR/AP experience
Skills and knowledge · Financial skills · Superior customer service · Strong communication skills ·
Other abilities
