WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

As the Transmissions Control Engineer, you’ll manage an engineering delivery team, reporting to a Lead Project Engineer. Your main task will be to lead the project delivery and engineering sign-off for the transmission controls hardware and software including function specification and development, validation and testing, software delivery planning and releasing, issue resolution, supplier liaison, and finally liaison with Manufacturing, Service, and Quality functions across a range of model year programmes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Besides a good electronics background and a proven record of on-time project delivery of electronic control units (in an automotive environment or similar), you’ll come to this role with experience of CAN communication systems and analysis tools such as CANalyzer, INCA, and MATLAB.
