WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Based at Whitley and working within our Prototype Tool Room / Body in White / Model Making department, you will be expected to provide workshop activity co-ordination and scheduling solutions in what is a high-workload, fast-paced environment. You'll liaise with engineers to understand their requirements and schedule the request through the workshop, where you will help to co-ordinate the work from start to finish.

 

You’ll liaise with engineers to understand their requirements and play a crucial part in high-level planning and scheduling for the workshop. You'll also co-ordinate current and future workloads to ensure delivery of on-schedule success.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have a strong engineering/manufacturing background and experience of manufacturing Prototype components. You’ll be working alongside experience engineers within a highly demanding environment and you'll demonstrate the ability to work independently, be results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive, and perseverance. You'll also be a resilient and enthusiastic individual who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs, and you’ll have a thorough understanding of MS Project and / or Primavera 6.

 

You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver complex ideas whilst being self-motivated, using your initiative to problem-solve. In addition to this you will be highly focused on delivering results, with the ability to lead and deliver projects to demanding timescales.
